Serve two user groups with one site
This national organization had two goals: Offer the general public easy access to information stored in dozens of separate, widely scattered databases, and offer the organization's members a convenient forum for discussing matters relating to their industry.

We created a two-part site with a home page that lets users choose between a section for industry professionals and a section for the general public. Organization members can find out about upcoming events, read about the latest news affecting their industry, and access other useful professional resources. For the general public, the site offers access to records stored in databases throughout the country, all through one simple interface. This popular site regularly exceeds 3 million hits per month and has been featured on "Dateline," MSNBC, the "Today" show, "NBC Nightly News" and other mainstream media outlets.
